The Day I Hired a Cowboy (and Why You Should Too)

Hi Reader,

I have a story for you—a real Texas tale involving a wild heifer, thick brush, and The Cowboy.

Here’s the short version:

We recently invested in cows to raise our own grass-fed beef. Everything was great…until the day they vanished.

Cue the chase:

  • Neighbors on horseback.
  • My son on a minibike, his friend on a go-kart.
  • Drones, ATVs, and even the sheriff's department.

Days of searching, sweating, and waving down neighbors led to one conclusion: We needed a cowboy. A real one.

Enter The Cowboy: He showed up with his horse, rope, and hound dogs. Within an hour, he had done what we couldn’t do in three days.

That’s when it hit me:
